A Covert Affair: Julia and Paul Child and the OSS

This is a fascinating look into the OSS (predecessor to the CIA), while it does cover the OSS careers of both Julia and Paul Child, I found the lives of those they served with even more fascinating. Covert field ops in China, Indochina…Communists and the McCarthy era, really interesting. Recommended for lovers of spy history.

Would love to read this book-sounds terrific. I enjoyed Julia’s story of her life with her husband in the earlier book about her. Would love to hear more war stories as she didn’t get too much into that before. Thanks! Sue
